The BathWorks bathtub refinishing paint kit is a commercial grade Two Part Resin, formulated to provide an extremely glossy, very durable, non-yellowing finish that will last for many years when applied correctly. It is easily rolled onto your tub, and there are many accessories’ available to help with the application of the BathWorks tub refinishing kit, ensuring that your tub gets refinished correctly, the first time.
Here are a few example accessories:
BathWorks bathtub refinishing paint was created for and is used by professional refinishers! Not only is BathWorks used in thousands of homes every year, but BathWorks is also used in the commercial settings, like hotels, apartments, and universities throughout North America. Hilton, Sheridan, Westin, Marriott, Days Inn, and many more are all using BathWorks bathtub and tile refinishing products. Epoxy paints would never hold up in such high volume commercial settings, and they barely last in your home as well. That $20 can of epoxy bathtub refinishing paint you see in your local hardware store won't last long. We can guarantee you on that.
On the other hand, BathWorks is a professional strength bathtub, tile, sink and wall surround refinishing paint, formulated for refinishing bathroom fixtures, and designed for the "Do it Yourself" crowd.
We've Got Your Back!
Additionally, BathWorks offers great technical support via telephone or email. You'll get advice directly from our in-house professional bathtub refinishers that have MANY years of experience. Try calling someone from the other kit suppliers, and you'll quickly discover that their technical support doesn't compare.
Why Not Epoxy Bathtub Refinishing Kits?
While epoxy bathtub refinishing paint kits can be fairly cheap and somewhat simple to apply (the brush on version anyway - the spray versions, well, not so much), do not be fooled! Epoxy is Not formulated for long term bathtub use! In fact, we regularly have to refinish tubs that were previously refinished with epoxy based paint kits. Sadly, a lot of the epoxy painted tubs we see (especially those that have used those $20 spray-on kits), have only lasted for a few months before the paint begins to bubble and peel.
Epoxy is very quick to yellow, extremely thin, and easily flakes and chips. But if you really like refinishing your tub on a regular basis, then by all means, go ahead and use epoxy. On the other hand, if you're the kind of individual that wants to do the job right, the first time, then use BathWorks resin based paint. You'll be happy you did!
THERE REALLY IS A DIFFERENCE!
