Shipping Policy
At Bathworks, we take care to ship your order safely and promptly. Because our products contain paint-related materials that may be classified as hazardous for transport, we can only ship via UPS Ground.
Shipping Methods
- UPS Ground only (no expedited or air shipping available).
- Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes, APO, or FPO addresses.
Processing Times
- Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days.
- You will receive a tracking number once your order has shipped.
Delivery Times
- Transit times vary by location but are generally 1–5 business days within the continental United States.
- Shipments to Canada may require 5–10 business days depending on destination and customs processing. Packages held by the carrier pending customs payment may experience additional delays.
- Weather, holidays, customs delays, and UPS delays may affect delivery times.
Shipping Costs
- Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and order weight.
- Free shipping is available for orders over $150 subtotal (before tax) within the contiguous United States. Free shipping does not apply to Canadian orders.
- Canadian orders are shipped DAP (Delivered at Place), meaning customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees may be assessed by the carrier (UPS) at the time of delivery. These charges are set and collected by UPS and/or Canadian customs — not by Bathworks — and are the sole responsibility of the buyer. These fees are not included in the shipping cost shown at checkout and cannot be estimated or waived by Bathworks. Failure to pay these charges may result in the package being returned or disposed of by the carrier, in which case Bathworks is not responsible for product loss and a refund may not be available.
Damaged or Lost Shipments
- If your package arrives damaged, please contact us within 5 business days with photos of the damage so we can resolve the issue.
- If your package is lost in transit, please notify us so we can work with UPS to investigate.
Shipping Protection (Optional)
At checkout, you may be offered the option to add Shipping Protection to your order for a small fee. This optional add-on provides coverage in the event your order is lost, stolen, or arrives damaged during transit.
- Shipping Protection is offered and fulfilled directly by Bathworks — it is not a third-party insurance product.
- If you purchased Shipping Protection and experience an issue with your shipment, please contact us within 5 business days of the expected delivery date with your order number and relevant details (photos of damage, confirmation of non-delivery, etc.).
- We will work to remedy the issue through a replacement shipment or refund at our discretion.
- Shipping Protection fees are non-refundable once an order has been shipped.
- If you did not purchase Shipping Protection, we will still make reasonable efforts to assist with carrier-related issues, but remedies are not guaranteed and are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Restrictions
- We ship within the United States and to Canada only. No other international shipping is available.
- Expedited shipping services are not available for our products.
