I have a black alkylic sink (with a small side & a larger side). Only the bottom portion of the smaller side needed refinishing, since the rest of the sink was in good condition. It took me 2 tries to get it done right. i originally ordered the kit from Lowes, which took over a month to receive. My first attempt failed miserably. The finish bubbled and took on an orange peel appearance almost immediately. I sanded down the sink with 400 grit wet/dry sandpaper and tried again. I ordered my 2nd kit directly from Bathworks, which arrived in less than a week, and it became apparent immediately what had happened during my 1st attempt. The kit I received from Lowe's was obviously a return. The kit came in an unmarked cardboard box, with about 1/3 the amount of paint and many of the other items missing. It wasn't until I received the kit from Bathworks that I realized what was actually missing. Other than that, just follow the directions exactly as stated. If you do have to make any chip repairs make sure to sand them down completely. The only blemishes that are noticeable are in the areas that I made some scratch repairs. Keep the roller full of paint and don't dry roll. Finally, DO NOT ORDER YOUR KIT FROM LOWES!!!!!!!
The improved double-pacage version of stronge smell (A) which had compared to the previous package. I'm planing to work it usability in June when the weather warms up.
The $65 extra customs fee I had to pay was a pain.
*I have a question: Does this product have an expiration date? How long can it be stored?
Hi Shige, thanks for the review. The product has a shelf life of approximately 2 years from the date of manufacture when stored properly — keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. As long as the cans remain sealed, you should have no issues storing it until you're ready to use it in June.
Regarding the customs fee — we do ship to Canada under DAP (Delivered at Place) terms, which means any duties, taxes, or brokerage fees assessed at the border are the responsibility of the buyer. We understand that's frustrating, and we try to make that clear during checkout.
Glad to hear you're planning your project and we hope it goes well. Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.

I used this to paint my fiberglass tub and walls because I didn’t like the almond color It worked wonderfully Make sure that you clean the surface very well beforehand I LOVED the outcome and would definitely use it again
This product saved me $500. I had gotten a bid of $750 to coat my tub. I bought 2 kits to make sure I had enough, and altogether I spent less than $200, including the tools I used.
