We have a 21-year-old granite-composite "Moenstone" kitchen sink that had become stained, bleached, and scratched. Replacing the sink would've been a very painful affair. Moen discontinued their Moenstone line of sinks a long time ago (possibly due to durability issues like those we encountered), and -no one- makes a replacement sink of -any- type that would match the existing cutout in the kitchen's granite countertop, nor conform to the cabinet's present configuration. Fortunately, we discovered this product, and it has restored the sink to a beautiful state with the least amount of effort. The painting process is a little involved, but is straightforward and well-documented by the seller. I followed the instructions to the tee, with one exception: instead of using a hair dryer to dry the sink before application, I used methyl alcohol to extract any residual water from the sink's surface (isopropyl alcohol would've worked, too; it just takes longer to evaporate). We also allowed the sink to cure for a full 3½ days before we started using it again. The instructions recommend a 24-hour cure time, but being that this product is a two-component epoxy, giving ample time for the cross-linking to complete is essential for obtaining the hardest and most-durable result with the new surface. The surface feels a -little- bit like a thin layer of hard rubber, but is much stronger than that. I actually think that by having a little "give," the paint is more resistant to chipping compared to what one would get from a hard epoxy. The only caveat is that the sellers advise -strongly- against cleaning with an abrasive (e.g., Comet, Scotch-Brite, Soft Scrub, etc.). To be honest, the sink appears to be so impervious to potential staining that I doubt we'll ever even need to consider using an abrasive to clean the sink - it drains itself practically dry in just a few seconds.
We have the oldest and longest antique claw foot tub ever made. It wasn't in bad shape, but did need a refinish. This product worked wonderfully. Just be sure after sanding you give it an extra smoothing, and remove all dust even if you don't see any DUST IT GOOD anyway. My tub is beautiful now!
I can’t get over how well this worked! My sink had a spot worn out from wear and tear. This went on really smooth, and holds up great.

My old farm sink had seen better days. I refused to update it which meant I got stuck having to refurbish it. I read this product details and followed instructions to a T. I did get some drips but no biggie. My frustration is a year later and I have a sink that’s already needing to be refurbished again!!!! A year?!?! We only cook a couple meals a week! With no kids!!!!
As others have indicated, the fumes you encounter when you use this product are strong. It’s important to use it in a well-ventilated area. That being said, once the product was dried (they recommend 24 hours), the fumes were gone. Most importantly, the end result was fantastic. I certainly recommend this product!
